Morning Raz
Morning, Tex. Got my applications submitted for concealed carry in Nevada and Utah. Florida packet is all put together, but it's $112 and I don't anticipate being in Florida anytime soon. So I'll send that one next month.
Morning Raz. I guess you're planning to fly commercial with your weapon(s). Have you dealt with that particular wrinkle yet?
Twice in the past five months. It's really not that big a deal. I'm just very disciplined about my luggage handling habits, so I don't wind up explaining to TSA why there's a loose round in my carry-on.
…and a few loose marbles.
Those I can't seem to do anything about. I keep losing them.
How was all the chootin'? Get your money's worth out of the training?
More than, especially since my friend the real estate guy paid the first-class airfare and the hotel. We drank for free all week, thanks to a run of luck at video poker. So all I had to pay was for the meals, some ammo, and a trigger job on the Glock.
But it's pretty intense training. 630 rounds in all, and we walked about 3 miles a day. Skills test was brutal. I didn't make Distinguished Graduate, but I made Graduate - which most don't on the first attempt.
Lotta work, lot of fun.
