Is the requesting company from Mexico? We get those emergency quote requests regularly from them. I've also learned they're BS.
no, it was from a customer that we deal with up here off and on and they asked me on Tuesday this week a price for a project on Monday next week. I got a call about 2 hrs ago telling me they needed the price by tonight. since they're not really good customers, and the job is not a good one from a supply standpoint, and I have a case of the ass about it now, they get an extra 20% to pay if they want us to do the work. also padded the incoming freight cost, so it may really be around 35% PIA charge.
