Morning, Sam
Hey BS!

So, what was your take on that $2 BV ott?
I've put a box in my cart at the page price  ($22.50  only vitola left).  I'm impressed.  started off a bit bland and i was thinking "ok, box time may bring some flavor" as there was a hint of something light coming through.  I tend to pick light and dark flavors instead of coffee, chocolate, bread, etc.  and this one (i bought the Petite Pyramid) started picking up some nice light flavor after about 3/4".  grew in intensity and got into some heavier flavor mid way and By the end I was thinking these WILL taste good after we few weeks.  burnt my fingers nubbing it.  slightly tight draw but not restrictively so.  i tend to draw a bit heavy when I drive, so this one lasted me 50 min or so.
They show all sold out now and most likely the Page stole yours right out of your cart.
No actually it seems mine was the last one.  i went back before I posted the "review" and checked to see if there was any other sizes available, didn't so went ahead and hit them.  showed up as sold out right after.
Was coming back to update that Famous has the coronas (largas or something like that I think they call them) for $18.99 but need a Mash item to add for shipping, also Catsrule does not work for the BV's unless you have an eligible item with them.
Would be nice to see some in a Toro or Torpedo.  Even a full size Bellicoso instead of the Pettite size.  would have liked about another 20 minutes or so.
Respectfully disagree on that one, Torpedo's are usually among the worst vitolas IMHO, Toros are usually good and I smoke some regularly but with the CyB's the toros are terrible smokes for some reason.
Totally agree with the exception of the LAT Edicion Racine Torp, I like toros though but CyB's suck in larger RGs for some reason

I think the Surrogates Skull Breaker is another solid torp... and the V, which I know you don't care for in any option.
The V's are good cigars, my issue is that I don't think they're as good as advertised and have frequent construction issues. I find Olivas (except Melanios) to be very linear and unchanging/uninteresting
I just don't much like the shape of torps or belicosos regardless of which cigar it is.
Torps don't bother me too much, but my favorite size is the toro normally.   Although I agree with the CyB.  i almost didn't buy the corona because i'd had the toro 1st and was wondering what the hype was about.

I have mostly smoked the robusto size and some coronas which are both very good but if I had smoked a Toro first probably would have never bought another CyB.

I always thought the construction on the V was pretty good... excellent maybe. Don't think I've had a bad one in that department. Actually had a few #4's over the past couple weeks.
+1 and I have smoked a lot of them.  But they changed them some about 2 years ago or so and the newer ones are still good smokes but not as good as the old ones.  Never any issue with construction on either of them though, quite nicely made cigars IMHO.
I had tight draw issues, nothing else
You talking about Nate again?

Well, since Scott left, and I know he'd be disappointed, 'cause he invented it... it's chuckled, now smiling.
