Morning Mr. Bean, how goes it?

Not bad.  I did not make the progress on the bathroom I'd hoped this past weekend.  The casework mfg f'd up the medicine cabinets, and the top mfg f'd up his order, but I did get the shower and tub faucets done and the lights roughed in, so not a complete wash-out.

You should learn to keep a tighter leash on those subcontractors...

I don't know, sounds like his concrete guy f'd him up today. Or maybe that's the problem, wasn't his concrete guy but was hired by the owner.

yep, owner made the arrangements. I wanted the 1st truck out of the plant but the park has "rules", " quiet time from 10pm-9:30am". I have rules too. "if you want me to do it, play by my rules!" my rules didn't work.

concrete is done, 3 driveways done, swirled wood float finish matches existing. concrete was an hour early second time around. driver pulls up sees me sitting and drinking coffee, and smoking a cigar, looks out his window, and calls my phone.

glad to hear it worked out for you.  have to find my concrete edger should be in the bucket with the float.

I have nothing but a broom and wood float. I use the edge corners for edging and dummy joints. although I just aquired a small pail and brush today from the dumpsters.

Just remembered I gave my Lexus to my younger daughter for the day,
was planning on going, but she's helping run movie night at her high school, (candy & soda concession stand), and needed to get back & forth to her school, without waiting for the train.  What was I thinking, guess I'll just smoke at the legion tonight.
