Been working up an ISOKW order.  Lou's has a decent price on the Upmann Mag 46's at 25/$198. But iHavanas has the Serie P No. 2 at 10/$79. Decisions, decisions.

Guess you prefer the Serie P that much more if the D is the one on sale for $180/25... only a couple pennys, I suppose.

Haven't sampled both to give a more informed suggestion... only had the D & E
I like the D, haven't had the E, but really love the P.

Any specific/particular profile or note that you identify the P with that's different than the D?
Yes, but I'm not sure I can put it in words...the P has more floral notes, the D more herbal. Seems to me the D is a little more earthy, with a little more woodiness.  The P has more citrus touches and just a touch more sweetness. Both are complex and multi-dimensional start to finish, the P changes a little more over the duration of the smoke.

That's my take, anyway. But WTF do I know?

I think that was as good an explanation as any. You've actually hit on a few "notes" that encouraged me to try the serie P... more so than before. Appreciate the effort.

So in a moment of weakness I bit on the Double Robusto V 2nds.  They just showed up, not much difference in these and the one "1st" I have in the box.  Should be over the bronchitis by weekend, will have to try one to see if they really are the same thing.

yeah, but only if the retirement fund matched the DOW in it's rapid upturn phase would I get excited.  Seems when it goes down, the retirement fund takes a direct hit, and when the DOW goes up, the fund climbs slower than snail snot in January.  A bit disproportionate in my book.

Gas prices are usually the same way, current market conditions notwithstanding.

I recently got some of the Nub Cameroon 2nds, can't spot a difference myself. When I start to run out, I'll be reloading on those.

Fish has reached a new level of hazing skill. You just know there's a double entendre there somewhere, but mere mortals can no longer fathom what the fuck he's joking about.
