Morning, Mayor Tony. What's the good word?

Year-end performance evaluations are due today.  I guess the next month and a half doesn't count?

Nah, it's like the All-Star game in any given sport. Based on about 45% of the actual season. Already had to submit my evaluation on my manager this past Wednesday. That time of year, I suppose.

Ok, then I guess the word is "payday"; two more weeks of motivation.

I got paid yesterday, most of it is already gone!

Oh I hear that.  My other house still hasn't closed but we're getting close.  My wife's already spent that money too.

So you'll be out of the rental game for good then?

Hope so.  Never wanted to be in it.

That's good news. One house is definitely all I can handle. At least until I hit the lottery and buy a log cabin somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
