Morning Chip, Dean and Mr. Mayor.
Good morning, NJDave.  Off to my first event of the day; some kind of a college bowl / team trivia thingy.

looks like TexDave is going to get wet.
Yes he is!  Been a steady moderate to heavy rain since 4:30'this morning and could last all day. We only had 1/2 inch (of rain) yesterday at my house but an area between Dallas and Waco had 13.5 inches of rain.

Guess you'll have to stay in, have some beers and watch some college football.

As long as the wind is not blowing too hard from the west-southwest I can still, enjoy those activities +cigars on the patio.

Put up a tarp/windscreen on that side.

lady just showed up to pack for camping trip. she's been sick for two days now. I have all my stuff, cooking stuff, meats, linens, towels, etc. she just has to figure out what clthes she'll need and canned goods. not going to be a fun day.

I can at least stay away and smoke cigars and drink coffee.

As I remember you just exactly quoted the last camping trip experience "not going to be a fun day"

I have shade screens that I can lower but if wind is blowing very hard it still gets wet.
