ESPN is reporting an assistant coach at John Jay High School in San Antonio told his school principal he ordered his players to hit a referee.
The coach says that decision came out of anger that the official used racist language, according to evidence obtained by Outside the Lines.
The school district will decide later today the fate of Victor Rojas and Michael Moreno, the players that hit the ref.
They are currently enrolled at the district's alternative school.
If they are found guilty of violating the student code of conduct they will either stay at the alternative school or be expelled
