Good morning, jammies.
Mornin Mayor
It's been a manic Monday so far.  I forgot my phone at home today.  It's amazing how much we rely on those buggers.
I completely agree - it's amazing and pathetic at the same time, haha.  Did you have a good weekend?
Do you want to hear me complain?  Let's just say it was fine.  How about yours?
LALTS!  I can't complain - was drunk for 12 hours on Sat tailgating and then rehabbed Sunday with NFL Football...now I have a ton of homework to do in the next 48hours.
12 hours of drinking..., it would now take me 3 days to recover from that...

Whatever you do, stay away from coffee. That shit'll kill ya!
It "may" according to studies.  I heard today that red wine has an 'ingredient' that helps defeat dementia...just drink 1,000 bottles a day to get enough to delay the onset.
I was just watching on tv about bee sting therapy used for Muscalar Dystrophy.

In 1965, the much-reviled situation comedy "My Mother the Car," starring Jerry Van Dyke as a man who acquires an antique automobile that's the reincarnation of his mother (voiced by Ann Sothern), premiered on NBC-TV.

I used to watch that...  I always thought Jerry was more funny than Dick...  Here's Mule Train, if anyone is interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IW6bmkzWcwg

I always liked Jerry better than Dick, too. It always seemed to me like, if you went to a party with both of them, Dick would turn into the annoying clumsy drunk and Jerry would be the guy in the corner nursing a beer and gathering a crowd by telling all the funniest jokes.

I always thought he and Craig T. Nelson on "Coach" were an inspired but underrated pairing on an underrated show.

My son is living in my mothers house, but most of the utility bills come to who else, dear ol' Dad.  Actually, most of the bills are pretty cheap.  I called him the other day and asked him, "are you having any problems with water over there...?"  He said, "no not really."  I said, "are you sure, you can't think of anything at all, drippy faucet or anything..?"  He responds, "Well, you know how you flush the toilet, it doesn't swirl any more."  Mmmm, no swirl...?  Ya mean, the water doesn't spin around...?  Noooo, it's really funny, there's hardly any water going around at all.  Mmmmmm, did you think to take the top off of the toilet and look inside to see what the problem is... Him, "I'll do it right now...!"  Hey, "that thing in the bottom is broke..!"  Ya mean the rubber flapper...?  Yeal...!  When did you notice it...?  Oh, just recently....  Well, ya know how you use the min. of 1000 gals of water a month..?  Yeal..!  Well, this month your presently up to 49,000 gals of water.  Buy a $3.00 rubber flapper and fix it....!!!!  But I don't know how...?  Geeez...!

Wouldn't ya think at some point you'd hear 49,000 gals of water going down the drain..????  If he would have told me there was 4 foot of water in the basement, I would have believed him...

Usually toilets make enough noise to warrant some research, but I haven't ever had a leaky flapper ;)
