72 here this morning which is about 8 - 10 degrees cooler than the past few weeks and only 91 for a high.  Must be Fall and time for Oktoberfest Beer.  Got one of those sorry azz overpriced Quesada Oktoberfest cigars left from the 5 I bought 5 years ago but will wait for a cool October day to light it up, maybe it has gotten better.
But Oktoberfest is in September  (don't ask me, I'm not German)
September 19 to Oct 4.

Last night's cigar and beverage:

Too damn humid to smoke last night, and looks like, pretty much the rest of the week. Sheesh!
I was sweating just sitting outside, but I hadn't smoked in a week or so and emmmmmmmmmmmWeber wanted to burn one, so I obliged.
I hear ya. Sometimes you just have to smoke, weather be damned. But I grilled up some steaks for the wife and myself for dinner, so that was all the heat I could stand last night. Lol
If I did not smoke when it was too hot out I would only have about 3-4 cigars from June through September.

Last night's cigar and beverage:

Damn, I saw the Sam Adams and the color thinking you had stepped up to the plate with an Oktoberfest Man's Beer but when I enlarged the photo I discovered my error.  Should have known you still dress up for Halloween in a bunny costume.
This beer was actually pretty damn good, even you might like it Tex.  It's a very toned down ST Pumking
I have tasted 2 or 3 pumpkin beers and was not fond of any of them but then again I hate pumpkin pies too.
Yeah nevermind, lol

Always been that way...specific dates change.  It's the 16 days leading up to the first Sunday in October.

New Braunfels calls it Worstfest and celebrates it November 6th - 15th this year.  It is a pretty neat deal even if it is a Nazi celebration. :)  Fish and Nate should be there since it is a Sausage Celebration. :o

Sprechen sie fun?

Join us for unique annual celebration rich in German culture and full of Texas fun! Located near the headwaters of the beautiful Comal River in New Braunfels, Texas!

Here you’ll enjoy good food, music, dancing, exciting carnival rides and games, German, Texan and domestic beer, special events and the finest in Alpine and Bavarian Style Entertainment.

It all happens at Wurstfest! The best ten days in sausage history.

Thanks TickerTapeDave.
Glad to serve the Banter's news department.  Futures have gained a little more could see a +120 or higher open.
Futures have continued to climb and could see an opening above a +150

Good morning, folks.  Just dropped off the kids for their first day of school.  My boys started kindergarten so it should be a peaceful rest of the day.
Morning Mayor, you still on vacation?
Yes, technically.  Back to the office tomorrow.

For me flavor profile was just OK.  Solid construction and nice slow burn however.
