35 years ago the wife & I went to St Johns for 2 weeks.  brought home 2 gallons of the Caruzan dark (they only had dark & light at the time) some of the best rum I've ever had.  tried to get the same here, and to this day swear that it's not the same.  Good morning everyone!
Good morning, Sam.  I assumed it was crapy island swill but y'all have convinced me otherwise.

Back in 1972 I got fifths of Cruzan Dark (long before 1 liter and 750 ml bottles) for $0.35 at the Pueblo Supermarket in St. Thomas. Same bottle was $1.00 at A.H. Riise.  But A.H. Riise did have ambience being in that old pirate warehouse.
