speaking of tents: a young couple set up a brand new dome tent fresh out of the box the Monday afternoon. yesterday I noticed they had cut a hole in the back of it and duct taped a brand new air conditioner into the opening mounted on a small folding table. they were gone this morning.
I believe they may make tents with air conditioners flaps in them, and also kits to modify your tent for air.
if it's snowing outside, do you still need the air conditioner - say Maine in October?
A/C runs non-stop from April to October.  I don't believe my windows open at all.

No shit.  It's unbearable there for me.  Although I'm sure it's all about what you're accustomed to.

Does that involve taking drugs? Because I didn't get my share...
