good afternoon boys, couple of car questions: the used 2006 lexus IS250 AWD I bought, dealer tells me the rubber boots on the rear axles are starting to go, so i need to replace rear axles on both sides to the tune of $5,000.00($2000 parts $3000 labor) says lexus just doesn't sell the rubber parts. Anybody ever hear this BS?  Oh and 2nd my daughter comes back from Montana, saying she drove both stick shift and manual... turns out she didn't know stick shift was manual, and the other type of car she drove was automatic!  gets very high marks in school though.

I'm kinda like Bean in that way.  When ISOKWs get sub-$8/stick, my credit card gets itchy.

That is the way they are made on a Toyota so guessing it is a fact.
