Anybody see that CI "pick your sampler" kinda deal? They had some acceptable offerings, specifically Brick House robustos, Asylum Toros, and Romeo y Julieta Bully belicosos. Thinking about doing it, if I can find the free ship code.

Alright, fellas... out the door! Hope everyone enjoys their weekend. May check back to see how many 'root beers' Dave gets in at the pool.

Buddy Emmons is gone.  That man was a genius.

I'm a pretty good guitar player.  But I can tell you from personal experience that an average pedal-steel guitarist can play rings around an excellent six-string picker.  You play the six-string with your hands, arms and shoulders.  Pedal steel requires your hands, arms, shoulders, knees, legs, feet, and torso.  And don't ever, EVER take your eyes off the fretboards.

RIP.

Now there's an interesting idea.  Or put it in the blender and make a Not Your Father's Root Beer milkshake.

Saw this stuff at the store, may have to swing in and get some.

Sounds just a bit nicer than my upcoming ride home on the Harley in 90 degree heat and traffic.
