Nothing on the docket just staying out of this brutal heat - 90 feels like 99.  Just keeps getting hotter as the day goes along.
Had the weird sensation at lunchtime of standing outside and the air was cool, but the breeze was hot & humid when it kicked up.  Probably the precursor to some mammoth thunderstorm or something later.  can't wait!  do have my class reunion tomorrow night.  ought to be interesting.
Got my reunion coming up in late September in beatiful Duncan, Oklahoma.  Trying to make event out of it.  Visit with son Tim and grand daughters and the OU / Texas game at the Texas Stae Fair.  Grand kids ought to enjoy the fair big time.  Rides and junk food!  Woo hoo!
Good old fashion fun.  Don't forget the fried snickers bar.
Indeed.  Texas State Fair - the home of deep fried anything and everything!

Well,  small consolation is what happens in your neck of the woods, usually hits my neck of the woods a day later, so i'll get ready for more h&h tomorrow.  may cut the grass tonight instead of tomorrow.
