Looks like my weekend plans are officially cancelled due to the impending storm. That blows. I always look forward to the Conference Championships. It's supposed to be so cold, I don't even foresee spending any more time outdoors than I have to. Not even to have a cigar.
That sucks, should be a good day of football.

As for my picks, I'm going with the Pats in the AFC. For the NFC, my initial reaction is to go with the Seahawks and their D. But on the other side of the coin, Darnold hasn't had a good year against the Rams, throwing 6 picks v. only 2 TDs. But when it's this close, I look to home field advantage, and Seattle has one of the best around. So I'm going with Seattle to make it through.

Newscaster says 1/2" of ice adds about 500 lbs to a power line.  They are talking an inch or more here.  The math isn't good.

Seems MAGA folks were not happy with the selection for Super Bowl halftime of a furner that will perform in Spanish.  So the NFL went out and got a band of straight white males for the pregame.  I'm sure Trumpf et al will be happy with Green Day.   :o

I'm sure he'll be going after the NFL big time after this...

Definitely seemed intentional by the NFL. "Don't like someone who doesn't look white but is an American citizen? How about these white guys who hate you all?"
