I had a meeting with someone yesterday who said she was sorry we're no longer going to be working together. She's not going anywhere, and I haven't been told otherwise. I'm pretty sure she misunderstood something she heard in another meeting last week that I wasn't part of, but she still has me a little frazzled. My boss was in that meeting, and he isn't ditzy, so I'll get to the bottom of it this morning.
I wasn't fired yet. As I suspected, the person I met with yesterday was confused.

That must've been a relief.

Absolutely. I suspected as much, but the doubt and PTSD from previous experience still gets the better of ya.
