Speaking of crazy talk, my grandpa got rear-ended at a stop light today. My mom says he's fine, but I'm guessing he's gonna be sore tomorrow. Damn kids!

That sucks. He should definitely go get checked out.

The irony is he was on his way back from getting a follow-up done on his skin cancer surgery.

I always figured if I achieved a net worth of a million bucks, I'd be rich.  I guess not.  My advisors say I'm halfway to where I need to be for retirement, if I don't want to become a Walmart greeter.  I'm not sure I'm going to make it in five to seven more years.

My sister said something similar, and now she's due to retire in June. It'll go quickly, if you're lucky. The alternative is not so bright.

It's just such a weird thing to realize one is technically a millionaire, but it doesn't mean anything.

I just meant that 5-7 years will go by in a flash. The amount of money is another issue. I'm definitely not in a good position to retire in 15 or so years. I may have to relocate to Vietnam.
