Now I'm really confused....There were Oliva and EPC Black Swans over at the Page.  (EPC is noticably better)  Now I see there is a JdN Black Swan.  So what goes?  I thought companies fought like hell over names?

https://www.cigarpage.com/black-swan-dealio.html
Never mind....I just read the description under this one....apparently the Page buys leftover stuff, like Caldwell but instead of giving them different names, they call them all Black Swan.  First one was apparently an RP.
And they must agree that the EPC's are the better offering as the vitola samplers offer 10 in the Oliva and RP samplers but only 8 in the EPC.
*never mind...pricing is $10 less for the 8 pack....

They also offer a sampler of those three.

Guessing the JdN offering is the newest one, so not included there.

I should have that coming up sometime next month. A lot of our team has already gotten theirs and have had nothing but problems.

I loathe that day. I will try to avoid it for as long as I can. Are you going with a PC or Mac?

I'm with you on that, but it seems we're in the minority. I've been told that's because I'm an old man.

This is my latest Microsoft Surface Pro.  I also have Macs - a 2019 Macbook Pro, and a 2015 iMac in the studio.

The Surface Pro has been my personal computer of choice for ten years.  This is the fourth one I've had.  I like that I can use it as a tablet, but it also behaves like a workstation.  I like Macs, especially for creative work, but they're expensive and there are little quirks about the OS that annoy me.  I've never much liked the iPad or the regular Surface because even with a bluetooth keyboard they're just a tablet with a keyboard, rather than a personal computer.  The Surface Pro just feels right to me for running my personal life.

I've upgraded about every 2-3 years, usually because I come across a deal.  I got my Surface Pro 7 because it came into the tech recycler where my son works.  It had 16 GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, and cost me $400.  I upgraded to the 11 because the 7 had really gotten beat up over the past 3 years, and had a hairline crack in the screen.  The new one has 32 GB of RAM, a 2TB SSD, and it was on sale, and I got it on terms of 20-months-same-as-cash.

I despise the iPhone.  I have one issued by work, and it drives me nuts.

I have the option of using using my personal Android for work, but they have to BYOD it and then it could easily end up qualifying for some yahoo's Public Information Request.  Not going there.

I never owned a Mac until after the turn of the century.  I was mostly a software application developer from 1990 to 2018, and that world was owned by Microsoft and Intel.  So I have vast amounts of Windows experience and knowledge.  Macs are fun when I'm in creative mode, where figuring things out is part of the process, and I've gotten pretty good at using them.  But for the daily routine, I don't want to have to figure out the eccentricities of MacOS.  If I'd only ever used Macs, those wouldn't be eccentricities, and it would be Windows that would require figuring things out.  It is what it is.

Been watching "Dark" on Netflix.  Been around a while but I'm just getting to it.  Interesting.
