I don't get what happened with Jimmy Kimmel. Seems like an excuse to get rid of him. I watched the controversial episode twice because I must have missed the egregious stuff he said the first time. Turns out I missed it the second time too.
He didn't even criticize Kirk, he was making fun of the MAGA to a looking to Canonize him.
A professor here at Clemson was fired and two others suspended for negative comments about Kirk.  Not cheering his murder, but disagreeing with his politics.  While I agree that teachers (and most everyone) is better off not posting that kind of stuff on social media, I do think it's gross overreach.  Smacks of McCarthyism.
It's mildly ironic that people are getting fired over stuff like that, when, if they repeated some of the things Kirk said, they'd also get fired.

Actually, Kimmel pulled out the allegation that Robinson was an extreme rightist, a disciple of Nick Fuentes.  A Groyper.  It's an absurd assertion, a desperate fantasy of the left.  Nick Fuentes is vile person, but Tyler Robinson was in a romantic relationship with a trans woman, and that ain't Groyper territory.

How about we just stay away from this subject here?  It's dangerous territory.

Wait. During Monday's episode? You saw this with your own eyes? Because I recorded it and watched it several times and I saw/heard no such reference to Groyper nor Nick Fuentes. Perhaps he had done so on another show. I'm only bringing it up here because I'm trying to understand what happened.

Perhaps he said something on social media.
