I thought I was going to be commuting today since my laptop was seemingly dead after the Windows 11 update. I could hear the fan running and the unit was hotter than the sun. Somehow, after leaning on the power button for about 5 minutes, it finally shutdown. I let it cool, and when I restarted, the update completed successfully. The bottom line is that I'll be able to work remotely, as originally planned.
