No Michelle Williams or Angela Cartwright??
Or Tom Wopat?
I despised "The Dukes of Hazzard."
"Smokey and the Bandit" had charm. The flood of sequels, copycats, trucking movies, trucking songs on the radio, and shows about southern outlaws vs buffoon cops really annoyed me, even as a teenager.
I loved the Dukes of Hazzard, but I was a kid at the time. I even had a General Lee that I would play with around the house, jumping over various obstacles, all while yelling "yeee-haw!"
When I played with my friends, I would always be Luke Duke. Therefore, you can wish me a happy birthday today also.
By the time "Dukes" came along, my pretending days were mostly over. For me, those days revolved around "SWAT," and I was usually the sniper - "TJ".
