It's First Friday....

The Friday before the first home football game   There is a parade in town....a bit hokey but cute.used to be a bigger deal but floats are no longer used and fraternity participation has dropped off due to most being on probation. Then a full day buildup to the Saturday night game.  Most hotels in the area charge over $500/night and restaurants are packed so best to just hunker down.

Sounds like quite the hullabaloo.

Bit of a Bru-ha-ha at times as well.

It's Labor Day weekend, which means the Thunderbirds are in town. Just got my first taste of hearing them buzz by as they practice for whatever show they're doing.
