Speaking of medical procedures, my grandpa is going in today to have some cancerous skin cells removed from his forearm. Outpatient procedure, which I'm sure is to minimize risk of infection.
If it's basal cell carcinoma (Mohs Surgery), it shouldn't be a big deal. Had something like that done to my nose about two years ago.
Don't know what it's called, but it sounds fairly routine. They don't even need him to show up until noon.

Change of plans, apparently today was only the consult. He's never been great with attention to detail. Actual surgery is 9/15.
