Working on getting someone out to look at my roof, seems that all the rain we've seen this year has taken its toll, as we had a small leak in the corner of the living room yesterday. If the tv had been on at the time, I might not have even noticed. But with everything quiet, I heard the water dripping onto the carpet.
Got someone that says they'll be here around 1. Which probably means 2:15.
Now pushed back to 1:30, which I sort of expected when he made the appt, since he mentioned having to be at another job a while away before coming to my house.
Got here around 1:40, so my guess was closer than the initial appt time.
Now for the results...
He didn't spot anything that looked real bad, damage wise. He said it's more likely poor installation of the current roof, because it's missing a drip guard on all sides, which he said was unusual. He did see some wind damage, so naturally, he recommends we file a claim with our insurance. But I'm guessing that's par for the course for any roofer.
I had already made an appt with someone else tomorrow before he got back to me, so I'm gonna keep that one, see what they have to say.
