Washington-Tampa was an entertaining game last night.  Much better than some of the earlier duds.

Blew right past page 3.  Sorry.
Bah, I should've known Natalia, too. I'm having quite a day. Luckily, it can't get any worse when I go grocery shopping, right? RIGHT?!?!

Agreed, didn't expect so many blah games over the weekend.

And what's with all the saxophone National Anthems?  Guess they got tired of singers taking their "artistic approach" on it.

Mike Mccarthy is out as coach of the Cowboys.
Yea, you're getting paid oodles of millions, but that would be a tough job to take.
Just like in college.  I do, but don't understand why an assistant coach making 2 or so mil a year in a stable, winning program would take a head coaching job for maybe twice that taking over a flailing program.  I like the stability (relatively) factor.
Because assistants don't usually go to the Hall of Fame, and they're always one bad season from being a scapegoat.  If the team doesn't make the playoffs, assistants get fired before they go after the big dog.

But if you're winning, why wouldn't you take a shot at being the big dog?  The worst case scenario is you fall back to being a coordinator again for a few years, then you try again.  CF Dan Quinn.

Big property tax reevaluation this year for the county. Everyone got a huge boost in their value, probably because the county is running out of money. Mine went up over $1600 for the year, which is about a 50% increase or so. Ouch.
That's a huge increase. They keep reassessing here too, but it generally only means it's going up between 2 and 8%. With that said, my little 100'x32' piece of property is being taxed about $12K per year.
Jaaaaayyyyzus.  $12K?  And I thought $6K on my third-of-an-acre was bad.

Well, I mean, it IS bad.  But you're getting sodomized.
And that is about twice what I pay which is less than I paid per quarter in NJ.

LMFAO!

I'm tired as hell of the singers' shenanigans.

Memo to Robin Zander:  Kudos for doing it straight, but dude...you're hall-of-fame rock singer.  Work on your intonation.  It's a hard song to sing, but more practice helps.

100% agree. And it entertained literally to the last second.

I spent a lot of time over the weekend cleaning up ten years' worth of "data sprawl."  The problem began when my studio gear was disassembled and stored in 2014.  There was a lot going on then - my mom had died,  #1 son was going to college, my part-time staff role at the church expanded, the Hubcaps went on hiatus, I wasn't doing much writing or recording.  And then I busted my leg. The wife and sons rearranged the den to accommodate my recovery, and the recording gear got stuffed away.  I backed up all the data - there was a lot - from the computers to external hard drives.  Since then, the pile of backed-up data has expanded as computers, tablets, and smart phones got upgraded and swapped out.  It's always the plan to sort through the data, but I never got around to it.  The studio data is massive amounts of large audio files, and toward the end my sons were using it a lot for school projects.

Now I'm bringing the studio back online, so I had to start sorting through it.  There was a massive amount of deduplication that needed to happen in the music libraries, owing to format conversions. I got half of it done over the weekend.  It will take several months to deal with the rest.  And I also got halfway through the accumulation of recording projects that the boys had left.  That will be a little quicker to resolve.

The good news was that I found a forgotten re-arrangement for one of my songs, dating to 2009.  That was fun.  It was good work.
That sounds like a Herculean task. The kind I want to do, but will continue to put off until I'm no longer walking this green earth.
Yeah, I mean...you know you're in trouble when just copying all the stuff to one drive on one computer takes a couple of hours.

Lol, I thought, here we go, someone who will just sing it without making a meal out of it. Then, oof. Probably should've warmed up those pipes a bit first.

The Rams are making fools out of the Vikings.  It's too bad.  I hate the Rams, I have some best friends from Minnesota, and I was an admirer of Fran Tarkenton and the purple people eaters back in the 70s.  But this is kinda pathetic.

Darnold is thoroughly rattled.
