Ouch. I certainly don't miss the commute, and mine was never over 25 minutes in the morning.

I wouldn't mind 25 minutes. I find that I need that transition between work and home. That's one of the reasons the pandemic was so tough.

Back in the day, I thought people that worked from home all the time were nuts. I couldn't imagine wanting to basically be in the same location for most of your week with no real interaction with your coworkers. Then I got to do it.

That'll do. My weather app has the hourly breakdown out to 8 am on Saturday. 7% chance of rain is the highest percentage for any of the hours between now and then, continuing the nice run we've been on.

Looks like tomorrow morning, I'll be hitting the links. Friday morning I've got kind of an odd split schedule happening, as I have to take the oldest to get paperwork filled out at her new job. She's finally got her first one, she'll be slinging burgers for the golden arches.
