Son got a call about 30 minutes after his interview yesterday and made him an offer he could not refuse, starts work this morning at 9:00.  Office in Georgetown T Dave & Short Stack, they mostly do work from Myrtle Beach to Charleston.

Dang, that's great. Like Dean's bikerlady, they couldn't do without him.

Can we still call her a bikerlady?  Does she still have a bike?  Is Dean looking to get a hog?

That's not a nice way to refer to Dean's friend.

no big deal, she'll be here Fri, Sat, and Sun. I will be absent from the banter all weekend.

Word on the news is people are really uptight down there. Is there some particular reason folks think Big O is targeting Texas? They've even got my cousin up in arms.

Word on the news is people are really uptight down there. Is there some particular reason folks think Big O is targeting Texas? They've even got my cousin up in arms.

Well the State is defending the border as much as they can with their own forces, it is an overwhelmingly R state,  we do encourage private ownership of guns and ammo, we are allowed by law to defend our person and property from threats and we are pretty damn independent with over half the nations fuel resources.   Oh yeah and there is the Alamo!  I don't think "O" supports a lot of those ideals.  Yes folks are pretty uptight but the Governor has now said he is confident that this is a legitimate military exercise and ok.

Wasn't me, chief.  It was the NSA.  They detected I was posting about Jade Helm and rerouted all packets destined for CigarBanter through extra checks.  There are now a couple of black panel vans parked outside the office, and a circling chopper.
