Motorcycle's done (for now). $840.
Ouch.  Sounds like they had to get deep into the guts of it.
Not really.  Routine 5000 mi maintenance, carb rebuild, fork oil, and a couple of wiring fixes.  Still needs base gaskets done and new tires, but those will have to wait a couple of months.
Used cars suck too.  I'll save my story for tomorrow.  I've got a train to catch.
That's why I have nothing to do with used cars, bikes or women...
So you're a paedophile?
No, just an advocate of new or don't bother.
I'm into cheap and sleazy.

I got the bike for $4500. Adding in all the maintenance and customization done to date, figure I'm in $6000, grand total, for a Harley Fatboy with 24000 miles on the odometer and a 6-speed transmission. Compared to buying a new Harley? I'm money ahead.

If I drop another $3k on paint, tires, a better seat, and a fairing, the bike will be cherry, and I'll still be money ahead, compared to my friends who are all running around buying new bikes for $26k+

It's a 1993. 24k miles in 22 years. Clearly the bike did a lot of sitting. So the seals were shot.

Two cigar B&Ms in the area Bean.  One on Rt. 1 next to Olive Garden in Lawrenceville (Tobacco Leaf), and one in downtown Princeton, (Little Taste of Cuba).  Both have modest seating.  Lots of good restaurants in Princeton.
Thanks for the suggestions.  I'm still not done working and too f'n tired, though.  I'll save my cigar smoking mojo for the pending cigar bacchanal.  Probably going to hit Panera Bread.  Woohoo!
Damn, you HAVE been in Austin too long.
Smashburger. Slightly less boring.
The one by David's Bridal on Rt. 1?  You were right around the corner from a good B&M AND a good liquor store (Joe Canal's)

Also, next time in the area, for a better burger, just two miles up Rt. 1 on the southbound side in Princeton Marketfair (mall) there is a Bobby's Burgers.  Reasonable and very nice flavors.

No, on 130 in East Windsor. Have not run across any B&M's in the area.

Been pretty much up and down 130 and 95 this trip.  Will have to wander that direction next time.

Just a fly by GFY, gents!  Great cigar, the SC Revelation, Tony.
I will definitely look to buy them.  Nice to see you, YAD.
thanks, Tony.  CigarKing has fivers for $34 I think, but I only buy them there when I can combine to get discount or free ship.

I'm not buying for now but I may be able to do better at my b&m.  If I come across a great deal, I'll post it and PM ya.

Yeah, and the funny thing is, she gets complements. I was sitting at a light in Tacoma, guy pulls up alongside on a gorgeous, blacked-out custom bike, looks my bike over and signals me to put my face mask up. "Nice looking bike!" He says. And I'm thinking to myself, "Uh, what?"

Appreciate that, Tony.  Never see them mashing or special priced.
