I just made the best frigging popcorn, I have ever eaten.  First, I popped the corn in hot vegetable oil in a large lidded pot.  Then I melted down a stick of margarine and about a third of a stick of butter, then stirred in a few teaspoons of crushed garlic, blended it in and let it cook until light brown.  Poured it over and mixed it in with the popcorn (about two pots worth in a large clean grocery store brown paper bag.
I can barely taste the garlic, it just has this buttery sweet taste to it, I can't quite explain.  It's ruining my plans to make crabcakes and corn on the cob ... I'm too full to care.
Margarine? No!

Thompson Cigars is the original creator of "Bait and Switch".
I just wanted a DrawPoker but got talked into this sampler for $20 more.
I thought I love the Montecristo White and the AVO and GrayCliff are smokable cigars, the others make for handouts or yardgars. They send me this POS! So return the cigars for full credit and keep the DrawPoker as a gift. I'm cool with that. Now I need to watch my CC to make sure they didn't SLAM me into the the Cigar of the Month Club, sheesh.
So, Oy ... not clear ... you did already return the cigars and they will give you a full refund and let you keep the Poker for free?  Please walk me through this ... I don't have a draw poker and would like to have one in my "toolbox".  Free is good!
its not over yet sly, but it's how I see it playing out. Invoice has poker as gift no charge.

Free is great!  Wouldn't be without my DrawPoker.
There's got to be a joke in there somewhere, but I'm on the edge of popcorn coma and too ... what was I saying?

I know.  I usually keep it more healthful, by only lightly salting the popcorn.  However, referring to what I think you are intimating ... it used to be illegal to sell margarine in Minnesota, then it could only be sold in it's original unappetizing white color with a packet of yellow food coloring separately.  I only had one stick of margaine, and figured I would sacrifice that ... however, I'm glad I added the butter, because I think that's where the sweetness came from.

I'm embarrassed to say it, but I've had to return a good number of things to Thompson, and haven't had any serious complications.  They make it hard to get out of the auto ship program, and have shipped things ahead of the date (which I keep pushing out).  So, I may try one or two, usually it's dry, hard to draw or tasteless and have to send them back.  The one thing I have enjoyed is very occasionally the 5 pack deal where the more you get the better the deal, so 4 "5 packs" for $79.99 of high quality sticks. (usually in the monthly catalog).  Tat Havanas have been part of the deal, but you can't order more than one of each 5 pack.

So you can't order 4 5 packs of Tats for $80.

See you later guys. Going to a lecture being given by a representative of the Magis Center : From Nothing to Cosmos: God and Contemporary Science ... Center was founded by a Catholic priest, who is also a PhD in Physics (Jesuit who taught at Georgetown, Seattle U. and Gonzaga U. in Spokane).  Brilliant guy with a sense of humor, who shows the compatibility of Faith and Science ... when both are considered honestly, outside of pre-conceived notions and ideologies ... His point: Truth is truth ... follow the Truth, fearlessly, charitably, where it takes you.  (I hope that's an accurate portrayal) ... check out the website, I've heard a couple of CD's on various topics ... great stuff even if I don't quite understand "String Theory".

Well, boys.  Two late work days this week mean I get to check out early.  Gonna go to lunch then head home and deliver the Harley to the shop for some TLC.  Catch y'all later.

Now you're just making me mad, Westcoaster. Haha.

Must... power... through... getting... antsy...
Sorry about that. Doesn't happen very often anymore for me.

Got the bike dropped off at the shop, then managed to catch the second half of the Consortium herf. Smoked an Asylum Toro and a 601 Green Robusto with some excellent wine.
