Got shocked maybe 3 or 4x, doesn't even wear the collar anymore - maybe wore it for 3-4mo/totalMy 8-year old Jack Russell Terrier got shocked once and then was like "Eff that"! Could never even consider removing the collar though, he was as "alpha" as a dog gets
