Good morning gents!  Scott - that box of Tat 10th BE has been going up for auction "tomorrow" for about a month now.  I'v been watching it for a long time and gave up.  Went to small batch and bought a couple of fivers instead.  $60 shipped, I think, with discount.
I know but this time they mean it
Yup, check is in the mail...

When they have a desirable item at a decent deal they still fly off the shelves in minutes just like the old days but that does not seem to register any value with them.

Once in a while something decent does show up, like CLE Cuarentas 10/$29.99 a couple Jams ago.  But so many good cigars at good prices have just disappeared, like LAdC EEs, Guillermo Leon CGs, and so on.  I just buy elsewhere.
I would guess that's what's hurting CI are the other outlets that can grossly undersell them for everything except the occasional deal. If I'm looking for a box or major purchase CI is the last place I'm looking
I used to buy a lot of boxes long ago but over the past few years I have drastically shifted towards more variety and now I mostly like to buy nothing more than 5 paks.
I always use the bid site for boxes. If you're paying attention, you can score some great deals.
Never have much gotten into the bid sites, don't have the patience.
Doesn't take any patience the way I do it. Throw a bunch of low-ball bids up on some stuff, sit back and wait to see if anything sticks.
+1 choose what you want, at a price you are willing to pay with autobid. sometimes nothing, sometimes 26 lots...

But then there are those times when you only win one or two and you have to scramble to "make shipping worth it"

For Mar 31:

Top News of the Day:

In 1917 - The United States takes possession of the Danish
West Indies after paying $25 million to Denmark, and
renames the territory the United States Virgin Islands. ~ These
islands are the real reason Muslims hate the US. They think
that's where the supply for their afterlife is located.

In Other News:

In 1909 - Construction of the ill fated RMS Titanic begins.

In 1918 - Daylight saving time goes into effect in the United
States for the first time. ~ Typical government program.
 No interest accrued.

In 1951 - Remington Rand delivers the first UNIVAC I computer
to the United States Census Bureau. ~ UNIVAC I used 5,200 vacuum
tubes, weighed 29,000 pounds (13 metric tons), consumed 125 kW,
and could perform about 1,905 operations per second running on a
2.25 MHz clock. The Central Complex alone (i.e. the processor and
memory unit) was 4.3 m by 2.4 m by 2.6 m high. The complete system
occupied more than 35.5 m? (382 ft?) of floor space.

In 1985 - The first WrestleMania, the biggest wrestling event from the
WWE (then the WWF), takes place in Madison Square Garden in New York.

In 1992 - The USS Missouri, the last active United States Navy battleship,
