wish I had good news to share but I really don't. since my trip to NY my arthritis has progressed. my ankles are bone on bone. all my meds have been increased to no avail. until they come out with a non-narcotic pain med my recourse is to fuse my ankles (according to my surgeon and rheumatologist). been looking into ankle replacement which is fairly new and only tried on the elderly because right now they only last 5-7 years. then there is a year recovery per ankle not counting PT. that't at least 3 years of my life and life of the ankles lost. so pain is my only real answer.

even took a few golf lessons but the pro said there really wasn't anything he could help me with until I'm pain free and regain my balance; but I still play at least twice a week.
That's a damn shame, sorry to hear it.
thanks, other than that I'm good. 🤣

In training for the next three days. That means I have to do my usual job AND try to pay attention. Sheesh.

That sucks, Dean. Really sorry to hear it.

I have several friends who swear by acupuncture for pain relief. I have no experience with it, but those people aren't loons, so I take them seriously.

Someone I work with was telling me about a relative down there who also got the mandatory order, but they're not leaving because they can't take their pets with them for some reason. Can I assume you're taking the same attitude with your mandatory order?

the notice states 'low-lying areas'. I am 8 feet above sea level here, the highest property. the law states that those who refuse to leave will not have the benefit of resources for rescue and could be fined in excess of $1500.

The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners have issued a MANDATORY EVACUATION for Zone A.  This zone includes all low-lying areas west of U.S. Highway 19 and some areas additional areas east of U.S. Highway 19. All other areas are advised to voluntary evacuate, especially those citizens living in mobile homes, manufactured homes, and recreational vehicles throughout the county.

The wife has had multiple people tell her to try CBD for her issues. She was supposed to ask her pain management doc about it at her appt yesterday, but I think she forgot.

I've a close friend in the business, and until it's regulated better and affordable with Medicare/supplemental insurance it's not happening. he says he sees a lot of patients that it really doesn't help.

Wow, have to go back every 7 months just to renew your license? That's harsh. Seems like a chronic condition, by definition, shouldn't require constant reevaluation.
