Good morning Chip and Dave. Looks like Texas Dave retired from bantering
I think he is holding out for Tony to come up with a special reward for the 10K mark.
Absolutely, that jabber-jaw has never been silent this long
He had a out of meeting today and had to hit the road really early this morning.
Yea, said he would be on the road early and not be posting today  (although I'm sure the Tony theory has some bearing)
Impeccable timing, the Diva is on post 9,999 and has to take a day and a half off?! His next post had better be noteworthy

Can you imagine what life was like in the late 1800's up there when most lived in trapper shacks with just a little fire going and having to use a outhouse.

Unbelievable - "only the strong survive" sounds like it would apply to that scenario quite well, haha.

I hope my truck starts this morning.  I wish I had one of those plug in engine heaters like I had in Alaska...!

I wonder if they really used the outhouse when it was this cold.  Morning Scott, BD, DaveFan and all.  Thanks for stopping by next door eveyday to say hello, DaveFan.  Very gentlemanly of you.

I had two different Aunt's and Uncles that used outhouses until right at 1990.  We loved to visit them, but sure hated those outhouses.

It was home for many years and helped pass the time at work for so many days.
