I have an antenna for local channels, haven't had cable in years.

I may try purchasing one from Best buy and see what I get. I need to stop giving spectrum all my money

Here's a website that tells you what local channels you should be able to pick up based on your zip code, along with the signal strength of each.

Checks out well. Now just need to select a decent antenna. Preferably an indoor one.

We have been streaming only for a while now. We are generally happy with YoutubeTV for local NY channels / Live TV... BUT they no longer carry Yes Network.

I have been considering switching to DirectTV Stream.

Not having YES is an issue for me too. I have to do something. 110.00 a month for cable is ridiculous

It might not be an issue this season with the current lockout. DirectTV Stream with Yes is $90. I'm sure once you add taxes and fees, you'll still be close to $110. All these companies are in cahoots.

I couldn't find that as an option. I'd definitely be interested in that. My understanding is that the app is free but requires a subscription with a provider, like Spectrum.

The Owners and Players are far apart on many issues. A family I know has a son/grandson in the Texas organization. I kind of side with the players on many issues.

I think they have a shortage of man power for parking the planes, unloading, and activities related to baggage claim.
