I finally got the Tapatalk plug-in working. Now I just need the servers to refresh so that I can find the CigarBanter group in the app. I suspect we will be fully functional in the next several hours.
That's a relief, using the browser is a bit of a pain.

afternoon Tony, Daves, and Bret. been a busy few days; business meetings, golf, helping organize for a Chili Cookoff for Saturday which I cannot attend due to an Archives Roundtable Troubleshooting event at same time, and I need to see my dentist for a broken tooth.

I did play some good golf though. really getting use to the new clubs, but we all know that can change like the weather.
Your dentist has Saturday hours?  Impressive.
lol. no. chili Saturday. I need to see my dentist. earliest is late March. or I could see him on the course. oh nevermind. quit fukking with me.

Morning DistractedTony and HoldingUpTheFortDave.
Good morning, ClemsonDave. I think ClevelandDave has done a commendable job today.
Agreed, although he didn't quite get Raz to a page 3 introduction.
I'm always a problem. Ask my wife.

Well, if you want a jet-powered bicycle, it's your God-given right to have one. I guess I start asking "why?" sooner than some, even though I know the answer is "Murica." And that's a fine answer, to be sure.

Having shot the .460 and the .500, and even a .308 handgun, I can tell you that it is a profound experience. I can also say that, for me at least, it wasn't necessarily a pleasant experience - with the exception of the .308 which was a bolt-action silhouette gun. That was fun to shoot. But the revolvers? Not so much.

But that's me. Everyone else should follow their particular bliss.

simple answer. I think it would be a nice 'toy' to own. not that will probably ever own one unless I hit the lottery.

I'd even take an empty one that I could fill myself.

Sure. But there are a bunch of guns ahead if that on my wishlist.

My next gun will be a Springfield Armory SA-35. It's a Browning Hi-Power, but with all the deficiencies of the Browning, including magazine capacity, rectified from the factory. That should be a terrific gun.
