@LTG - got the new clubs. driver, 3 wood, 3, 4, 5 hybrids, 4- pw. keeping my TM RAC wedges. not the longest off the tee as my playing partners but I hit fairways. adjusting to the difference in lift with the hybrids and irons. always seem to be a club or more short. I'm happy to be able a take quite a few strokes off my game.
That's good looking set, nothing better than consistency, even if you have to sacrifice distance.
I've got my Hogan irons and 4-hybrid new from last year, and they have a "try it before you buy it" program, so they're sending me a couple of woods with different shafts so I can see about replacing my 4-wood. Got the shipping email today, so I should have them in a couple days.
And as it happens, I also have a set of rac wedges. Love those things. I also have a Hogan wedge coming to try, but even if I like them, that would probably be a next year thing. But honestly, I doubt it, cause I can't find anything I like as much as the racs.
I no longer carry my 60° but I love my 52° and 56°. always wanted to try the Volkey wedges but why waste money when I love what I have.
my clubs come with a 60 day trial so I can return them if I wanted but I haven't found anything wrong with them.
I have all 3, including the 60, which is what I use primarily around the green. But with the newer clubs, I find I have a big distance gap between PW and 52, so if I got new wedges, I'd go with 50, 54 and 58.
They also have a "Texas grind" wedge, which has a lower bounce that I think I'd like, but they don't offer that one in the try it program.
