And good morning, one and all. Happy Payday Thursday!
I was hoping you were including me in the payday discussion but I just checked and alas... Nada.
Bummer.
It ain't over yet. A lot of times I receive the payment in the afternoon. Unfortunately, it's very inconsistent. Let's hope we see something soon because papa needs a new car.
Not another car accident, I hope.
No, lease is up on the car that had all the accidents.
Ah, yes, I remember you mentioning that now. Looking for anything in particular for the new one?
One with BIG bumpers maybe?
Hahaha. So true.
Maybe consider this one.... ;D
I didn't even realize Hummer still existed.

Don't know why some cigars catch my eye....
like this one...

https://halfwheel.com/senseis-sensational-sarsaparilla-heads-to-stores/399717/
Sounds interesting enough, and it's not some obscene size, like a lot of new smokes are these days. I say give it a whirl.
Couple of testers ordered.

I thought they had sold them off to the Chinese.  Don't know how this has resurrected itself then.  I believe the only iteration of it is all electric.

Had to check on that one.  Here's the update/clarification:

As part of its reorganization efforts, GM announced it was selling the Hummer brand to the Chinese company Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery.

The deal was to be concluded by March 1, 2010, for $150 million.

Unfortunately, the deal didn’t go through largely because of the poor image of the Hummer.

The Chinese government did not approve the transaction because of the vehicle’s gas-guzzling reputation and China’s contribution to global pollution.

No banks in China wanted to fund the project and the Communist Party was not willing to allow foreign investment to back the deal.

Update from the golf course - they have 2 18-hole layouts, one will be closed at least through tomorrow (possibly longer), the other is closed indefinitely. Total number of trees down is now over 100.

And leave the cart at the clubhouse, cause it sounds like it's not getting around the course.
