Sad news for Tony Bennett, revealing he's had alzheimer's for nearly 5 years. I remember going to see him in concert when I was in high school, went with a buddy of mine, his brother and their parents. We were the youngest people there by 20 years, easily.
I feel like he's been doing lots of public appearances in the last 5. Maybe I just have a poor sense of time.
No, I think he has, and he posts videos on his FB page on occasion. I guess those are just taken at times when he's doing well. I haven't had any experience with the disease personally, but I imagine there are good days and bad days.
I would say that is the case in the early stages. For example, my mom hasn't had a good day in over 6 years.

Bennett said he knew he was in trouble when he forgot where he left his heart.
