@TexDave, Did you have the Xikar lighter with the CI logo return issue? (Inpress?)
No sir, never owned a Xikar lighter. Sent back a Xikar cutter a couple of years ago and great service no problem but the new one they sent me was stamped "made in China" and my old one was made in USA.
Ahh. Wasn't sure. I had an Inpress lighter with the CI logo stop working, so I remembered someone's story about having to return it to CI for replacement. Nothing special. A nice single flame I've used for almost 2 years.
Don't know about a CI logo return but i will tell you they certainly honor their lifetime warranties very well on the regular stuff.
I think the logo is the catch. Being a promo, Xikar wants it to go back through CI. Not a big deal, but apparently CI's customer service couldn't find the invoice with the lighter. Fuckin Lori made me go back through my email confirmations to tell her what order it was on. I guess the burden of proof is on me, but wouldn't you think they have all the same information as I do... and then some. Anyway, replacement is on the way.
