I believe I only have one biscuit, a Grands Frozen one.  And I've been asking my wife to buy gravy for biscuits and gravy for the past 3 weeks, but she say's, "I can't buy it because I don't know which gravy goes with biscuits....!"  I may have to stop at Hardee's when I go over to the kids house in a little while.

Hardee's will fix you right up on Biscuits. Just an FYI there is a brand of frozen biscuits called Mary B's that are every bit as good as almost any homemade buttermilk biscuit.  Some grocery stores carry them but most Walmart's have them. They are in a red and white bag.

I am probably the only old fart from the south that does not like gravy on biscuits and don't like white gravy period.  I like brown gravy.

About 2 weeks ago while walking with the kids, we stopped and talked to the new neighbor that lives across the street.  I'd say she's around 46 years old, blonde, just a little over weight.  She was very nice.  She said she has a 5 year old granddaughter and might stop by with her when she comes to visit.  The very next weekend (last Saturday), I hear a knock at the door, around 10:30am, and it's her and her granddaughter. We take the kids outside to play.  The grandmother looks very nice, and she's all made up with her make up on.  I'm not sure if your familiar with comfort zones or not, but when some one stands closer then around 2 1/2 feet from you, you know it.  Well, she's about a foot from me.  She's telling me that she's divorced, and lives by herself.  Other then her granddaughter making me a nervous wreck due to being clumsy and getting hurt every 10 minutes, it was a nice visit.  But I don't know what I've gotten myself into..?

I haven't seen the Mary B's, but I'll keep an eye out for them.  I like the Frozen Grand Biscuits, because you can just take a couple out at a time and make them.  I've had some damn good white gravy at restaurants, but I can't make good gravy to save my soul...   I can make gravy, but it doesn't that fantastic flavor, just plain white gravy.  Recently, we were at Cracker Barrel restaurant, and they had the best biscuits I've ever had.  I'd like to try their biscuits and gravy..!

I make great biscuits but the Mary b's are to good and to easy to make them from scratch, but a good white gravy with sausage is hard to beat.

Sounds like you need to change your screen name to Dean Junior.  That is more than a slippery slope that is a cliff.

I believe it's Allrecipes.com that has some good recipes that I'm going to have to try for gravy.  And there's a couple of Copykat.com websites that have some good recipes too.

My wife just came in from work.  She said my truck has Oysters on it's windows.  Surely she meant, "moisture," don't you think...?
