Family Used to go up to Lake Ouachita when I was a kiddo and Later when I was in high school and on up in my late 20's went up there diving quite a few times.  Always stayed at Mountain Harbor except when real young and it was poor folks camping near there.

Used to be some fine restaurants in Little Rock and Hot Springs when I used to go out there.  For that reason, it was one of my preferred trips and nobody believed that.....which was just fine.

No, we're riding up from here.  It's about 450 miles, so one day to get there, ride around the area Fri-Sat.  They head back on Sunday, I'm sticking around to visit family and heading back on Monday.

It's all about the proper gear and ergonomics of the bike.  The bike as stock, no way. But with after market seat, bar risers, grips, and windshield, not a big deal.  That is about my limit for a day, though.
