What's up, peeps !?!
Howdy, Steve.

Hey, Bret... Just takin' a little break here. Having some lunch at the desk... The glamorous life
I'm working in my pajamas. Haven't showered in two days. Glamorous indeed.

I did leave the house for three hours yesterday. So there's that.

Ha! Sounds like the week is shaping up nicely. You on staycation?

Sounds good, but isn't there construction at the house as well? Maybe even a loud running hair dryer?

Today there is. Well, not the hair dryer, but the contractor is upstairs banging around. I may have to move my work location from my recliner to the cigar room.

Could be a real struggle getting you there too, I bet...  An office like something out of Mad Men. I'm jealous.

Speaking of TV shows... everyone catch the new Game of Thrones episode? Loved the opening! Even though I could see it a mile away.

Sure, rub it in. Sounds like you got yourself a real TxDave style assignment... short lived as it may be.

Feel free to relax and pass that gas. Just, you know, be polite about it.

Over the weekend, reports circulated about an American Airlines flight that landed in Raleigh, North Carolina after a man’s “rectal turbulence,” so to speak, made passengers so ill that the plane had to make an emergency evacuation.

According to the International Business Times, the man, who was believed to be ill himself, “broke wind so violently it caused nausea and headaches among his fellow passengers.”

American Airlines said in a statement that these claims are decidedly false.

"The plane was not evacuated. [A] medical call came in for someone affected by an odor after the plane deplaned normally,” a Raleigh airport official said in an email to the Charlotte Observer.

“We did take an aircraft out of service for a mechanical issue, an odor in the cabin...No ‘passed gas’ issue,” an American Airlines official added.

What a relief that the rumors aren't true.

However, if you must pass gas while you’re up in the air, maybe excuse yourself or try to get to the lavatories. It might help keep the skies a little friendlier.
