Morning, all. Happy Taco Tuesday! In honor of today, this is where the wife and I are going out to dinner this evening. Over 75 kinds of rum!

http://bombatacos.com/
Man, that looks yummo.  Gonna have to hit the taco truck when it comes by the shop later this morning. Not the same, and no rum, but it'll have to do.
I've always said that any tacos are better than no tacos. Morning, Mark.
I'm blown away by the profundity.
That's a $2 word right there, Tony.
Will that buy me a taco?
Not quite, but during happy hour, they're only $2.50. I'll throw in the change for you.
Appreciate that. Haven't been paid in 8 months.
Should be soon though, right? You've been there almost a full month now.
Yes. Invoice submitted and waiting for the check.
It's a government operation, so give it 6-8 weeks.
And by weeks he means months.

Damn, the 5 year old, standing about 4 feet away, gave me a full blast in the ear with one of those super soaker squirt guns.  Also, shot me in the butt so I can't even sit down to type..!

Typical airline arrived right on time and there is another plane sitting at the gate so we are parked on the tarmac. 3 for 3 on this trip in that category.

Or we will be, because we'll be reading about how you went, which is sure to be a hoot.

But it WILL involve a toaster oven....and quite possibly a Honda.

having pot luck at our meeting tonight so I decided on making small shells and my white clam sauce. not sure but if I start it at noon and let it simmer until 5pm, then reheat at the meeting at 6:30 it should be fine. may cook the pasta there, not sure yet.
Depending how many people you're cooking for, I might cook the pasta 3/4 of the way and then refrigerate it. Then you can boil water at the meeting and drop the cold pasta in there for 2 minutes. Just suggestin'.
20-30 people. that will work, thanks Tony.
Yeah that's a lot of people. This way you can cook it in batches and you can serve it almost at the same time.
being potluck there will be plenty of food if even half brings something to eat. I'm cooking 2# of pasta so everyone can get a taste. any leftovers are MINE.
at a 1/4 pasta per person, 12 -22 folks will not be getting any.  But you know us Italians we always over estimate the amount of food we need.

two pounds of small shells goes a long way. one guy says he's fixing sausage and peppers, one bringing ribs, and then there's the Holder Women's Group showing up trying to out do everyone. don't see there being much room for dessert.

sounds kosher then, well not really with clam sauce and pork sausage, but it will be OK.

While bbq'ing, we think we saw another military drone.  It looks like a very extra large black bird that never moves it wings.  Circles allot.  Actually, I hope the police are using them...
