I can't find anything to spend Raz's Money on today.
It's okay, my mechanics, FFL's, and guitar amplifier dealers have you covered. Do is both a favor and take a break.

Morning, muchachos.

Guitar amplifier dealers, huh? Tell me more. Do you have a collection?
I'm more of an accumulator than a collector, whether we're talking amps, guitars, guns, knives, or motorcycles.

As for amps, I have a THD Flexi-50 with 2x12 and 4x12 THD cabs, a Marshall 18-Watt clone I built myself, a 70's Silverface Baseman head and cab, and my.most recent acquisition - a 1965 Blackface Fender Twin.

What about guitars?
Number 1 is a Don Grosh Retro Classic Mary Kay, one of the first Mary Kays Don built. Number 2 is an Edwards clone of a '58 Les Paul. Number 3 is a Tom Anderson Cobra S.

My prized possession is the 1962 Gibson 12-string acoustic that my grandmother bought new for my dad. He took lessons from Paul Kantner and Skip Spence with that, played it on the main stage at Monterey Folk in '63, and once used it to back up Grace Slick. I also have a '96 Martin HD-35, a custom-built Roger Hamilton Small Jumbo, and a Hound Dog Dobro.

Then there's a large pile of pieces and parts.

Whoa. I had to do some googling. Sounds like a pretty cool collection, though. Cool about your Dad's guitar. Is he still with us?
Yeah, he'll probably outlive me. He's only eighteen years older than I, and his mom lived to be 102.

He gave me the guitar just after my mom died. She's talked him out of selling it several times back in the day when they needed money.  After I started playing it was understood the guitar would go to me someday. After she died, he was clearing stuff out of the house and decided to pass the guitar on.

Patience, I'm sure something will come along by the weekend.  Maybe look for a nice pink sidearm for the little lady for VD coming up in just over a week.
The little lady doesn't care for pink. She does, however, love the hell out of this, which I took delivery of on Monday.

Is she auditioning for the new Dirty Harry movie?
No. That's a late 1920's Model 1905 Military and Police model in .38 Special. More Eliot Ness than Harry Callahan.

(Tex may chime in here to point out that Ness carried a Colt Detective Special, which is true, but he owned one of these as well.)

That takes a lull AND some special shampoo.
