All these college kids anxious for the NFL draft, but none of them want to be the first pick..... ???
Right? I'm sure Cleveland is beautiful.

Morning Tony, Sfish, BYS, presumably Daves and Dean.

Rain again in Los Angeles today. It's starting to feel like the Pacific Northwest!
Flooding affecting you?

Nah. Haven't seen or heard of any where we are. I'm up in Glendale, which is pretty high, and downtown. It's good to see it keep coming, but it lengthens my commute as I usually ride my motorcycle downtown when dry and get to bypass some traffic (splitting lanes is legal here in CA). :)
Spending a fair amount of time in CA, see plenty of splitting, and it scares the hell out of me to just watch.

I hear ya. Some folks really are quite reckless. A lot of people zip around cars as if they are stationary objects that won't make unpredictable sudden movements.

If done "correctly," in appropriate speeds of traffic with sufficient reaction time and zone-of-danger avoidance, I'm an advocate.
(Well isn't that a lot of fancy words to make it seem like I know what I'm talking about!?)   8)

What has you in CA, Dave?

Huh, the Little Devils (2-5 packs for $20) from my cbid order show "backordered", never saw that one before
I had them contact me and cancel a winning bid shipment ones as they were "out of stock".
You weren't in a particular hurry to get them anyway, were you?
No hurry and at that price I'm keeping them but I just never saw that before from them

That's exactly my point, there can be no zone-of-danger avoidance possible.  I never worry about what I'm doing on the bike, but worry a lot about my surroundings.

My biggest issue with guys that ride like that is they're the first guys to want to be treated like a regular vehicle, until they decide to split lanes

It is, we help perpetuate the stereotypes to keep the riff raff away.
