Morning, all. Had the golf show over the weekend, picked up a new "1-wood". First time in all the years I've gone that I actually bought something. Now I just need to get back out onto the course.

Split Rock perhaps? Getting out is always the challenge...then of course there's hitting the little white ball straight

Definitely, if the weather is good. And I know I'll be out in September when we head to MN for the Ryder Cup, so there's that. Lol

Also, my dad bought some new shoes, so I know he'll want to get out. Haha. Plus, he's playing Torrey Pines in May when he goes out there for business. The bastard.

Wow, impressive aspirations to play in April, then again in September. Are you sure the wife will let you get away with playing so much?

Hey, I didn't play at all last year, so playing twice is like playing infinity more times.

It doesn't work that way.  Times you had fun without the warden in the last 12 months are cumulative, times you forego having fun are ignored.  But points for the wishful thinking.

Cusano 18 robusto and coffee here.
waiting for a call to get the truck in for tires and sign a different sales agreement, they found a bank with a better interest rate, saving me quite a bit more money in 30 months, plus a lower monthly payment.

Sounds about right. Can't believe how light it is, and the loft is adjustable. And it was only $50, so I really had no choice.

I considered buying one when they first came out because of the loft adjustment, but the price at the time wasn't in my budget. I got so frustrated not being able to hit my TM Burner 9.5 that I gave it away. bought a Cleveland Classic Tour High Wing 350 10.5 for $30 and love it MOST of the time.

for Chip:

Dear God,
Some days feel too hard.  We’re hurting.  Struggling.  Fighting fear and worry at every turn.  Thank you in the midst of it all, you haven’t left us to fend for ourselves.  Forgive us for doubting you are there.  Forgive us for thinking you’ve forgotten.  Forgive us for believing we somehow know the better way.
You are fully trustworthy.  You are All Powerful.  You are Able.  You are Lord over every situation no matter how difficult it may seem. You are Healer and will never waste the grief we carry today.  You will use all things for good in some way.  Anything is possible with you.  Nothing is too difficult for you.
We pray for those who grieve today.  We ask for your comfort to surround those who weep.  We pray for the peace of your presence to cover our minds and thoughts, as you remind us, the enemy can never steal us out of your hands. He never has the final say over our lives.  We are kept safe in your presence forever, whether in life or in death.
We thank you that your ways are higher than our ways and your thoughts are bigger than our thoughts.
We lay it all down at your feet, every burden, every care.  Believing that is the safest place for it to be.
We love you Lord, we need your fresh grace.
In the Powerful Name of Jesus,
Amen.

Update
My mom continues to get worse daily.
My daughter was out of hospital for almost two days but we had to rush her back again Friday, at least it was to a different hospital this time so we are getting to explore another facility.  Maybe one day things will calm down again.
Thanks for the concern guys and have a great day.

Hello, boys.
Morning, Mr. Mayor.
Hello, my friend. Hope the weekend treated you well.
Not bad. Spent Friday night with the family including #1 sons new squeeze. Spent Saturday with the Warden planning work on the house and putting new lighting in the master bath. Yesterday I went over to MacGuyver's house and we stuffed ourselves silly on fine beers, brats, and sauerkraut while watching the Big Race.

good morning guys.
I love Mondays!
Cusano 18 robusto and coffee here.
waiting for a call to get the truck in for tires and sign a different sales agreement, they found a bank with a better interest rate, saving me quite a bit more money in 30 months, plus a lower monthly payment.
nice, that always helps...

Lol
I'd say you were very wise, but, you know, the molding.
I hung some new blinds this weekend, doesn't that count for anything? (TWHS)
I hung track lighting in the bathroom. Morning, muchachos.
I put pajama pants on, and got out of bed this weekend, to eat at the table, and watch TV downstairs.
I say, set very low expectations, and follow through.

That sucks.  The only good thing about an hr drive commute is I do get the opportunity to smoke a decent cigar on the way in and out if I choose.  usually have a ride home one, not always on the ride in.

Don't know if you're still on Fishy, but I enjoy them.  Fairly light and subtle, but  good flavors and good burn.  Good amount of cedar with some pepper, especially later.  A subtle, but hard to place general sweetness present.

@NJDave, how are the EPC Cabinets? I know you gave me one but I haven't smoked it yet
Don't know if you're still on Fishy, but I enjoy them.  Fairly light and subtle, but  good flavors and good burn.  Good amount of cedar with some pepper, especially later.  A subtle, but hard to place general sweetness present.
Going to be overshadowed by his more flavorful cousins  out now so will probably  be overlooked.
A box of toros on the bid for $43 ends at midnight
Oh well.

Get a room!
This is our room, move over
Bean just wants to get in on the spooning action.
There's no room.  Guess I'll just watch from the closet. Hold on while I gouge my eyes out.
Why does that sound like an option he's taken before??   :o

Nah, the "oh well" was for a different lot. Truth is, it's for the best.

for Chip:

Dear God,
Some days feel too hard.
In the Powerful Name of Jesus,
Amen.
Amen.
