Morning, all. Had the golf show over the weekend, picked up a new "1-wood". First time in all the years I've gone that I actually bought something. Now I just need to get back out onto the course.

Split Rock perhaps? Getting out is always the challenge...then of course there's hitting the little white ball straight

Definitely, if the weather is good. And I know I'll be out in September when we head to MN for the Ryder Cup, so there's that. Lol

Also, my dad bought some new shoes, so I know he'll want to get out. Haha. Plus, he's playing Torrey Pines in May when he goes out there for business. The bastard.

Wow, impressive aspirations to play in April, then again in September. Are you sure the wife will let you get away with playing so much?

Hey, I didn't play at all last year, so playing twice is like playing infinity more times.

It doesn't work that way. Times you had fun without the warden in the last 12 months are cumulative, times you forego having fun are ignored. But points for the wishful thinking.

good morning guys.
I love Mondays!
Cusano 18 robusto and coffee here.
waiting for a call to get the truck in for tires and sign a different sales agreement, they found a bank with a better interest rate, saving me quite a bit more money in 30 months, plus a lower monthly payment.

Made it through backed up security and now at the gate. Terminal A in Newark looks like a third world country airport.

Sounds about right. Can't believe how light it is, and the loft is adjustable. And it was only $50, so I really had no choice.

I considered buying one when they first came out because of the loft adjustment, but the price at the time wasn't in my budget. I got so frustrated not being able to hit my TM Burner 9.5 that I gave it away. bought a Cleveland Classic Tour High Wing 350 10.5 for $30 and love it MOST of the time.

for Chip:
Dear God,
Some days feel too hard. We’re hurting. Struggling. Fighting fear and worry at every turn. Thank you in the midst of it all, you haven’t left us to fend for ourselves. Forgive us for doubting you are there. Forgive us for thinking you’ve forgotten. Forgive us for believing we somehow know the better way.
You are fully trustworthy. You are All Powerful. You are Able. You are Lord over every situation no matter how difficult it may seem. You are Healer and will never waste the grief we carry today. You will use all things for good in some way. Anything is possible with you. Nothing is too difficult for you.
We pray for those who grieve today. We ask for your comfort to surround those who weep. We pray for the peace of your presence to cover our minds and thoughts, as you remind us, the enemy can never steal us out of your hands. He never has the final say over our lives. We are kept safe in your presence forever, whether in life or in death.
We thank you that your ways are higher than our ways and your thoughts are bigger than our thoughts.
We lay it all down at your feet, every burden, every care. Believing that is the safest place for it to be.
We love you Lord, we need your fresh grace.
In the Powerful Name of Jesus,
Amen.

Update
My mom continues to get worse daily.
My daughter was out of hospital for almost two days but we had to rush her back again Friday, at least it was to a different hospital this time so we are getting to explore another facility. Maybe one day things will calm down again.
Thanks for the concern guys and have a great day.

Not bad. Spent Friday night with the family including #1 sons new squeeze. Spent Saturday with the Warden planning work on the house and putting new lighting in the master bath. Yesterday I went over to MacGuyver's house and we stuffed ourselves silly on fine beers, brats, and sauerkraut while watching the Big Race.

That sucks. The only good thing about an hr drive commute is I do get the opportunity to smoke a decent cigar on the way in and out if I choose. usually have a ride home one, not always on the ride in.

I have been under the weather for a while now, but last week's doctors confirmation of fluid
build up in the lungs, heading towards CHF, gets the warden off my back, about the low key weekends. last week had to pick up Gabby from work, then take her and one of her friends to the mall, and they pick them up late after the movie.

I am having some leftover shrimp at my desk today.
wife made me a ham & cheese sandwich. 20 years, you think she would catch on by now,
that I prefer mayonnaise to mustard on my ham sandwich. :o
Then again, this is the 4th sandwich she has made me in all those years.... 8)

No doubt. He could afford it because of the great profit margins on the wooden ashtray.

Lol
I'd say you were very wise, but, you know, the molding.
I hung some new blinds this weekend, doesn't that count for anything? (TWHS)
I hung track lighting in the bathroom. Morning, muchachos.
Hang it from the ceiling or the crown molding?
Is that HO, N, or O gauge track?

Sounds like someone's upset that I didn't win the lottery and buy him one.

Dave's Bueso ashtray jealousy gives me a perfect segway, since it's time for me to blow this popsicle stand. Hazzuh!

No crown molding, so had to hang it from the ceiling. It's gauge HW - stands for "happy warden".

Smoked a SWAG SoBe on the way home. It tasted like spicy matzo cracker. They've been discontinued and I'm ok with that.

Raspberry thumbprint cookies, spicy matzo crackers? Are you smoking these cigars or eating them?

Don't know if you're still on Fishy, but I enjoy them. Fairly light and subtle, but good flavors and good burn. Good amount of cedar with some pepper, especially later. A subtle, but hard to place general sweetness present.

Going to be overshadowed by his more flavorful cousins out now so will probably be overlooked.

There's no room. Guess I'll just watch from the closet. Hold on while I gouge my eyes out.

Nah, the "oh well" was for a different lot. Truth is, it's for the best.

for Chip:
Dear God,
Some days feel too hard.
In the Powerful Name of Jesus,
Amen.
Amen.
