Chip, I hope all is going well.  Don't forget to take care of yourself as well as your mom and your daughter. No need to concern yourself about this place.  Let us know how things are when you get a chance.

I don't think breaking it will be something you'll have to worry about on a Xikar. And even if you do, lifetime warranty. Lol

True. Purge isn't the issue... although even using a small screwdriver will foul the soft metal pretty easily. The adjustment on the inner barrel is what I can't find the right size micro-screwdriver for.

Pope said Trump wasn't a real Christian. Figured it would only be a matter of time before Trump lashed out like a little petulant child, but I honestly thought it would take longer. Only read the article an hour or so ago.

Started the day with a total idiotic teleconference with a bunch of morons.  Then 2 meetings with the boss lady, gave her my retirement date and tears again so showed her my penis and brought her from tears to laughter....... :)  Then a haircut and picked up some lunch.

Fuk'n off till 3:00 now then time to go home.
Nothing like showing a lady the ol' hammer to get the laughter started.

Guess that goes for most of the other Republican candidates based on reasoning.

“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian,” Francis said when a reporter asked him about Mr. Trump on the papal airliner as he returned to Rome after his six-day visit to Mexico.
Asked whether he would try to influence Catholics in how they vote in the presidential election, Francis said he “was not going to get involved in that” but then repeated his criticism of Mr. Trump, with a caveat.

“I say only that this man is not Christian if he has said things like that,” Francis said. “We must see if he said things in that way and in this I give the benefit of the doubt.”

Trump let him know who's boss however...

In the days before Francis arrived at the border, Mr. Trump criticized the visit, calling the pope a political person and accusing him of acting at the behest of the Mexican government. “I think that the pope is a very political person,” he said.

“If and when the Vatican is attacked,” he said, “the pope would only wish and have prayed that Donald Trump would have been elected president.”

You can't make up this stuff!

Anyone familiar with this or similar butane tool? I've effed up a couple valves on some cheaper lighters. Trying to avoid that on the Xikars in the collection.

http://butanescrewthing.com/
How hard are people unscrewing or pushing the button to purge it that they're ruining lighters? Sheesh. I just use a screwdriver for glasses. Small, works great. TWIS

Hey! Did I tell you knives were sharp?!?  :P
I got an order from the Page yesterday and it had a zip lock bag full of fuk'n lighters in it, invoice showed 1 free order of 5 lighters.
they were trying to get rid of those faux "carbon fiber" lighters, a few weeks ago.  Said they sucked, so buy 1 get 9 free, or some such, no complaints allowed.
I figgered they were of no significant value being as they put 5 of them in my order for free without my even asking for any.........  But maybe they will just be handy disposable lighters that work for a couple of smokes while travelling.

Speaking of Travelling it is Ft Worth (Cow Town) for me the next two weeks.  Good thing is there is a quaint little B&M and a Fox and Hound Pub that both offer cigar smoking in the same block as my hotel for the 2nd week.

Well, Dean keeps the cello on.  There's a lot of stuff going around with the Seniors down in Florida.
When I first started, I left the cello off of my Torpedo, and 9 months later I found a Corona in my humidor...!

Not a big fan of the overall profile of the FLFR and by extension La Aurora.  Nothing wrong with them, good construction, fairly straightforward and uniform flavors throughout the cigar.  Good tobacco, not much else.  JMHO.

My Netflix DVD arrived and I was all set to watch a western this afternoon, and I got a pirate movie instead...
What kind of pirates?

You should watch it... and when it's over go poke the warden in the eye and kick her in the leg. When she ask's "Aggg, why the hell did you just do that", you can say "I wanted to make it with a lady pirate" but didn't have a costume, so just went with the basics.

@ Travellin DAve - have you any smoking experience with the Fernando Leon Family Reserve line?    Wait a minute, on second thought @ Travellin Dave what is your smoking review on the Fernando Leon Family Reserve?
Not a big fan of the overall profile of the FLFR and by extension La Aurora.  Nothing wrong with them, good construction, fairly straightforward and uniform flavors throughout the cigar.  Good tobacco, not much else.  JMHO.
Thanks, think I will pass on them.

G'Morning, Fellas. Hope Chip is hangin' in there... Prayers to ya, brother.
Morning, Steve. Banter dragging a bit this morning.
Chip with priorities, Dean, TexDave YellowStar, Bean and the Mayor all AWOL.
Conference call, 1 hr and counting.  Sheesh

Morning, Bean. Post up the number and pass code and we will liven up the conversation... What are their thoughts on cello on or off?
Well, Dean keeps the cello on.  There's a lot of stuff going around with the Seniors down in Florida.
When I first started, I left the cello off of my Torpedo, and 9 months later I found a Corona in my humidor...!

lol

A few weeks back YAD/2Hand posted a deal advisory on here for some Villiger Cabarete Maduro boxes, $50 with the overpriced shipping.  Had never tried one but what the fuk, jumped on a box for the retirement tub.  Took a few out of the box and put them in the current use humi for testing.   Smoked two of them this past weekend and IMHO they were an excellent cigar and smoked $5 + all the way IMHO but only cost $2.50,   So good that I jumped back on another box.

Anybody else tried them
