Ten years ago: California Gov. Who To Marry?
-------------------------

HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY? (written by kids)

You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming.
-- Alan, age 10

No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with.
-- Kristen, age 10

WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?

Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.
-- Camille, age 10

HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?
You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids.
-- Derrick, age 8

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?
Both don't want any more kids.
-- Lori, age 8

WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?
Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough.
-- Lynnette, age 8 (isn't she a treasure)

On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that Usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date.
-- Martin, age 10

WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR?
I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns.
-- Craig, age 9

WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?
When they're rich.
-- Pam, age 7

The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that.
- - Curt, age 7

The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do.
-- Howard, age 8

IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED?
It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them.
-- Anita, age 9 (bless you child)

HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN'T GET MARRIED?
There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there?
-- Kelvin, age 8

And the #1 Favorite is........

HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?
Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck.
-- Ricky, age 10

Full Cold Moon arrives on Christmas Day, first since 1977

For the first time since 1977, the moon will reach it's full moon phase on Christmas Day. To provide a little perspective on that, if you're below 38 years of age, this will be the first time in your lifetime that the final full moon of the year has occurred on Christmas Day.

Like other moons throughout the year, such as the Harvest Moon or Hunter's Moon, the December full moon has it's own nicknames. Some of the common names associated with the December moon include the Cold Moon, which is due to the colder temperatures of December, the Yuletide Moon, and the Oak Moon.  The Farmers Almanac calls it The Cold Moon.

The next Christmas full moon will be in 2034.

Good old UPS delivered a couple of boxes from CI that were meant as Christmas presents to a couple of nephews last night to the front door, to bad it wasn't my front door.  I am guessing I will be buying something different for them now since I am sure CI's customer service will say to give it another week or two, the Bastiges.

That sounds like here Wednesday, 7 tractor trailers wrecked on new bridge that caused it to be shut down for 14 or so hours causing everyone that normally took that route right through town clogging up all the roads and screwing both the morning and evening traffic up for a couple of extra hours.

I very seldom buy anything either but I found one of those cheap humidor deals, 19.99 for a 40ct humidor and 10 crap cigars for 19.99, they only smoke cigars at Christmas every year when I give them all some so quality cigars were not an issue.

My wife drug me out to the car last night at 10 p.m. to see if the automatic headlights would come on.  Can anyone guess what happened...?  THEY CAME ON...!!!!  I think what started this was, she got off of work the other morning at 8 a.m. rather than 7 a.m. and the headlights didn't automatically come on at 8 a.m.  This morning she got off at 7 a.m., so when she got home I asked her if her headlights were still broke, and she said, "no..!"  I was hoping for, "Oh honey, you were completely right as usual..."  But it was just a simple no.  End of conversation.

I've never lied to her ever.  Except for maybe a little white lie to keep from hurting her feelings.  But when she asks me something, she always assumes I'm lying.  Mmmm, now that's got me wondering, "Why would some one always consider your lying when you never have..?"

I'm sure it's like everyone else's.....  I guess everyone is excited to watch the new episode of, "Marriage Boot Camp...!"  This season is interesting because Mama June and Sugar Bear are on there, and they seem to be the only normal couple.  I think I have it on my DVR.  So it will be, Marriage Boot Camp, cigar, and a Bloody Mary for the next hour...!  And don't act like you guys are not doing the same thing... :)
If those 2 are the only normal couple, that show must be an absolute trainwreck of nonsense. The wife and I will be doing our Xmas shopping for the kids later, then I'll enjoy a cigar or 2 after the kids go to bed. Not sure what we'll be watching, since Doctor Who ended last week. Probably just random stuff of mine on the DVR.

My son is a major Doctor Who fan.  It always seemed to cheesy for me.  The only times I've tried to watch it was when there was a cute girl that always wore a mini-skirt.

Got the warden to Walmart and back, we have a secret Super Walmart here and it was a breeze.  Below is a picture of the secret Walmart parking lot at 10:00 this morning and inside there was not a single person at the checkouts.  We checked out about 11:30 and there were a few people checking out but no lines just walked up and checked out.  Amazing!

The only thing that makes Walmart better is a Walmart with no one inside. That's why we do the grocery shopping early on Tuesdays, can't deal with the idiots. Now, we'll probably be there tonight in the midst of our Xmas shopping, so I'll just have to try to contain my desire to punch someone while I'm there.

I normally will not go in a Walmart but this one is nice.  There are almost always more people working there than shopping there.  We needed some toys and clothes for our secret Santa adopted family and this close to Christmas we were the only people in the toy and clothing departments.  A few people in the grocery section.

Can't go wrong there. My only hope is that more people are out enjoying the nice weather instead of shopping later, but I doubt I'll be that lucky.

The crappy end of today is tonight.  Got to go to the Wardens company Christmas Party no to top it off the mother fooker is downtown.  Plenty of free booze but can't drive home and a cab ride from downtown to here is about $100.  They used to pay for hotel, rooms for all that requested one but oil is too cheap so that perk got cut.

Hey seegar shopping Dave.  You gonna need a shipping container for a humi.
Hope so, can't have too many cigars when prices are that good.  Those 12 honest men were supposed to be a limited run so wanted to get them in the humi just in case.
With what I alreadyhave and  got bought I can smoke 1/month for the next 5 years.
Uh...you only have 60 cigars?  Is that a typo?

Happy 100th Birthday to  Hoboken, NJ's own Frank Sinatra!

1915 - 1998

Photo from 1957
We were born in the same hospital... Roughly 57 years apart.  He even bought his first house in the same town I live in now, about 60 years earlier too.

On that order, add 20 MF'rs, 20 Tres Reynas, and 5 AF 858's.  105 for the day.  Tried to by an AR but that market is Fuct now so I just bought cigars.

Yeah, born on the kitchen table, ripped out with forceps. He weighed 13.5 pounds, and they thought he was dead until they ran him under cold water.

Our church did something similar. 160 families, by invitation through recommendations from local teachers and social workers to avoid the cheats. New coats, groceries, and six rooms full of new gifts they could "shop" while we entertained the kids. Then we gift-wrapped for them. And yes, I helped the team of translators, Tex. ;-)

Yeah the cops gave us 3 names and the lady in charge (my boss) checked them out and this one was certainly in the deepest need.    We are wrapping all of them this week then someone is delivering them to their house on Christmas Eve.

Just 60 of the 12 Honest Men.  You carrying your water wings with you Raz?

Black Belt Buckle performed well. Excellent draw and burn.  The wrapper did not improve the original blend and may have muted it a bit.  I was surprised that they didn't do this with the sublimes vitola and I think it would have been a better choice.  If you like the Four Kicks and EPC broadleaf you'll like this too as there were no surprises.  Worth the $5 I paid.  Better than most EPC. Not as good as most CH.  First impressions based on one cigar.

Howdy CB, yep I know that one now that you say it, have smoked them in the past, good cigar.
Black Belt Four Kicks is the Four Kicks with a Maduro wrapper and a limited edition.  Damn near 70 degrees today.  30 degrees above average for this time of year.
I do like Maduro wrappers myself, still 72 degrees here now, I'm loving it.

Thx Ogie, good stuff
