This has been a very busy jam in comparison to many of our past jams. Selection still not that great so I guess some guys are just getting desperate and don't know about many of the other sites available.

Morning Tony, pretty high just below medication level.  Just been not exercising much , eating bad and put on too much weight again like a total dumbass.  Back to the vegetarian diet and the Nordic Trac and see if it begins to come down in about 30 days .   Job and Warden sure don't help it either, she had not been home 5 minutes yesterday before she had me  pissed off enough to implode.

Word Origin and History for coddle Expand
v.
c.1600, "boil gently," probably from caudle "warm drink for invalids" (c.1300), from Anglo-French caudel (c.1300), ultimately from Latin calidium "warm drink, warm wine and water," neuter of calidus "hot," from calere "be warm" (see calorie ). Verb meaning "treat tenderly" first recorded 1815 (in Jane Austen's "Emma"). Related: Coddled ; coddling.

I never want to burn an optimist, but I think an appearance of NW Connies is highly unlikely, particularly with as quickly as they've disappeared at other sites when received.  But you never know.

Cigar King having a nice price on AJF Mayimbe with free shipping too!

http://www.cigarking.com/mayimbe-by-aj-fernandez/
That's a good price?  Sheesh.
I've paid about $7-9 a stick at cigarbid so yes, if they throw in free shipping.  I think i've paid
just around $10 per cigar at a B&M.
Regular price at CI is $14, best I've seen in B&Ms is about $16.  Guess I need to find out where Flip goes!
Flip has flipped the tax would be that much up there

Actually, I'm hoping that it will glitch tonight.  If it does, we roll the whole thing back, go home, and then we have a week to fix it before the real deal.  What I fear is everything going swimmingly tonight and glitching next Wednesday - in which case I'll be stuck here until it's operational.  That would suck mightily.

Mine's acting up now, too.  Low flow, high pump discharge pressure on the filter gauge.  It's not the filter or check valve, so I fear it's something inside the heater.  And now the refrigerator in the garage is crapping out.  Roseanne Roseannadanna told me there would be weeks like this.

So that damn pool isn't so bad after all.
Yes it is!!!!!!!   I have about $500 worth of parts sitting here now to install.
Ah, shit... not the beer fridge!
Indeed it is.  It just got old and doesn't function so well anymore. (TWSS)
I replaced the beer refrigerator in the garage last year.

Guessing from your Deanesque activities today Dave, you sound like you're on vacation. You have the week off?
I am off on Friday but I have to work this Friday so took off today instead.

Nice! and apologies... I know we were only supposed to discuss Golfs' schedule.  ;) My bad. Guess he dozed off anyway.

So, anyone watch the Open? That course looked like a picked scab.
Not sure they'll be back there anytime soon. Between the course looking like shit, the crowds not being able to get all around the course because of some of the hills, and the remote location, not much reason to go back. Great ending, though.

I did and that golf course is a disgraceful shithole.   That is what happens when the environmentalists run your business.
I don't think that had anything to do with it. That was the the USGA wanting their usual cruel, bogey-filled tournament. In the opening sequence, the course looked great. Everything was nice and green, you could actually tell where fairways ended and greens began.

I have not. Been smoking down some inventory as of late. Probably getting late in the game to get some. I'd also like to get some of the re-label 2014's Scott posted about.

It was good because of the competition. What did you think of the Ball Tracker? I remember when the NHL tried a similar thing. It didn't go over too well with the hard core fans. A little too Videogame'ish. I thought it was okay for this though. It took a minute to even find the ball rolling on the ground most times.

I believe the USGA used the FIFA selection process.  That course is a piece of shit all the time..
That said my 2 favorites finished 1st and 2nd but would have preferred it was reversed.

I've gotten used to that since it's been around for a few years. I do enjoy seeing how they are flighting the ball. I really liked the mics they put in the bottom of the holes that were picking up stuff they were saying on the greens. Never really get to hear stuff like that.

CyB lit, damn nice on the patio where it is shady with the ceiling fans going.  Nice ice cold
30 oz drink going in my new Yeti Thermal Mug.

This big Yeti mug got me to thinking, I been drinking around 42-48 oz of coffee before 8:30 every morning  lately, sometimes more, that might be good for 5-10 points of the blood pressure I guess.

Too much free time on summer break...

Clemson Tigers kicker Ammon Lakip has been suspended from the team indefinitely after he was arrested earlier this month and charged with cocaine possession and driving under the influence.

No, this isn't the SEC.....good as gone, Dabo don't put up with that shit.  Hell, he suspended Sammy Watkins for four games the beginning of his soph. year for smoking pot.

Too much free time on summer break...

Clemson Tigers kicker Ammon Lakip has been suspended from the team indefinitely after he was arrested earlier this month and charged with cocaine possession and driving under the influence.

Well, it IS just the kicker. Plenty of soccer players there to tryout.  ;D

Winner take all tonight in the College World Series.

Pulling for the Commodores... so they'll probably lose.  :o haha
Me too so now they are doomed.
Gotta balance it out pulling for UVA
+1 Yoo-vee-ay, Yoo-vee-ay, Yoo-vee-ay ... good game last night ... have to root for the home (state) team and ACC ... nothing against SEC and BOTLs TR & LSUChip ... just would like to see them puil it off after getting so close last year.
Well we are 2 and 2 now.  BS is in SEC country too
TR, since you brought the Murcielago deal to the fore, I've been mulling it over, and went through my cigars and found a 4 pack of the box press regular toros (6x50).  So, before pulling the trigger on the deal, I thought I need to refresh my memory on them.  I know I have a partial box buried somewhere, don't remember being enthusiastic about them.  When it comes to chocolate ... some people like the bitter or semi-sweet and some prefer sweet milk chocolate ... which is more to my taste ... my memory of the Murcielago was more on the bitter or semi-sweet side of things.  Dang you ... I was partly hoping I wouldn't like it, so it would be a no-brainer on turning down the offer (spent way too much in recent months on "great deals"), but I had it sipping bourbon while watching the CWS game and it was really good ... dark, but rich tobacco flavor ... so thanks for bringing the deal to our attention ... I am a fan of most of the E.O. brands, and this one did not disappoint ... I just hope these boxes have that same aged rich tobacco flavor.  Followed that up with a Diesel HotD corona, again a great tasting cigar that doesn't disappoint.

CyB lit, damn nice on the patio where it is shady with the ceiling fans going.  Nice ice cold
30 oz drink going in my new Yeti Thermal Mug.

This big Yeti mug got me to thinking, I been drinking around 42-48 oz of coffee before 8:30 every morning  lately, sometimes more, that might be good for 5-10 points of the blood pressure I guess.
step away from the coffee cup. nobody will get hurt.

Cutting back only had 26 oz this morning.  Can't lie to the doctor though 26 oz of my coffee is probably the chemical equivalent of 72 oz of most folks.

They are one of my favorite smokes under $1o-12 But this is way more than a good deal because these are seriously probably the last ones to ever be found other than maybe a few singles in a B&M or something.

That reminds me I got to drag out some Tupperware and season it :)

They are over at Atlantic.  These are probably the last of the original Murcs to be had.  These were made in classic round form where the regular production Murcs were box pressed.  Taste the same to me.  Available in both box and bundle.

Correct.  If you do buy regularly, particularly boxes, Atlantic VIP is a good deal.  For example, I saved $30 on a box of New Worlds (over CI price), good prices on Room 101's and I got a box of Tat El Triunfador Original Lancero's for $135.  Full dislosure, there is little or no discount on some lines, like AF.  Figure I broke even before my third box purchase.  Free shipping threshold is $150, so I hold back on purchases and take advantage of that.

Now with all that said, as Dave mentioned, there is no additional discount on sale items.

I would rather be a whore but when it is a cigar I really like and I may never be able to get anymore I am a hoarder.   Also that is one of my son's favorites and I will send him 20 of them being the great Dad I am.

I actually rarely even buy boxes unless it is something special.

The Melanio maduro was good but it didn't blow my socks off.  The V lancero will have to be the next Oliva cigar I smoke to see if I can rekindle the admiration I once had.  I'm starting to think I've outgrown them.

Flor de Selva and Manhattan made with this RYE whiskey I'm trying out.
Cigar is starting out nice and this is just about the best Manhattan I've had. Thanx to Fred Bob for the cigar and Joe for the whisky wisdom. How about them Twins! Great day to be at the ballpark. I got free parking one block from the stadium for giving the guy a Griffins robusto. Kids had fun and to top it off it was dollar dog day. Now home relaxing on the back deck. Yes, BOTL life is good.

I think your problem is the maduro.  Stick with the Sumatra.  Also more consistent draw vs the regular V.
